The antique style mirror range offers French and English overmantles, upright and landscape decorative mirrors and oval and round mirrors.

One of our Subtle Finish mirrors can be designed and made to suit your needs and budget in one of our decorative subtle finishes or gilded with a distressed aged appearance resulting in a patina that literally takes a hundred years to aquire. Due to Peter's expertise as an antique mirror frame restorer he can make a mirror with an antique look that is hard to tell apart from an original.

Traditional methods and techniques are used when creating these antique style mirrors. We offer decorative tops or crests and etching on the frames, as the French Louis Philippe style mirror frames often were. Composition work is very much part of what we do and allows us to create Empire, Regency and Adam style detail on mirror frames.

The gold we use is 22 carat gold leaf and for silver we use 14 carat white gold. Peter watergilds all his frames however to suit different levels of budget can also use imitation gold & silver leaf which can give a great look for a lot less of the price.
