This mirror is in the 18th Century "Adam" manner and comes in a simple white gessoed finish. The delicate composition work consists of roundels that were commonly used by Robert Adams in his design work in the 18th Century. His work was influenced heavily by the Italian frescoes of the earlier centuries and he was highly regarded for his work and carried our many commissions architectually on palaces and stately homes and of course on furniture and decorative objects.

Our mirror is rectangular and simple in white and would work well as a statement piece in an antique or modern setting.
