A French 19th Century Louis Philippe style, round cornered upright small-medium mirror. Parcel gilt with cross hatched etching. This mirror is watergilt in 22 carat gold with a red bole (clay) layer which gives a warmth and depth to the gold. This style of mirror are very versataile and hang well over furniture or a fire place but equally can be freehanging on a wall.
