This enchanting small mirror is of a neo-classic 18th Century style and features the greek key pattern etched onto a 14 carat white gold (watergilt) frame with black bole. Decorative details include ebonised beading and laurel leaf composition work. This mirror can be hung either way and would suit a room setting with antique elements or could be the centrepiece of a room instead of a painting. We have antiqued the glass on this mirror but it can be made with plain glass too.

The neo-classic style was a revival of Greek and Roman classic elements and became widely used in the Empire and Regency times in France, the UK and Europe in architecture on furniture, mirrors and objects of art. 

We love the simplicity of this mirror, there are enough decorative elements whilst still keeping it subtle and stylish, no winged sphynxs for us.
