A classic example of a silvergilt Louis Philippe French 19th Century style mirror frame with an antique appearance. The frame is watergilt in 14 carat white gold leaf with a black bole base. This mirror has fine details such a beading around the inside of the frame. The impression of lines around the frame are the layers of gold leaf which are applied using the watergilding method.

This mirror is ideal as an overmantle mirror or over a piece of furniture. It would also look fabulous freehanging on a large wall or stairwell landing. We have antiqued the glass for a really authentic look but is available with plain glass. This mirror can be made in any size and rectangular.
